Cape Canaveral Space Force Station

Our Museum

The Cape is an installation of Space Launch Delta 45 adjacent to Kennedy Space Center on Florida's Space Coast. Coupled with Patrick Space Force Base, the Cape functions as the World's Premier Gateway to Space.

Our primary museum exhibits on the Cape are located on Launch Complex 26, the Sands Space History Center, and Hangar C.

THE CAPE

Located in Florida, the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is also known as Cape Canaveral Auxiliary Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Missile Test Annex, Cape Kennedy Air Force Station, Cape Canaveral Air Station, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES

Cape Canaveral Space Force Station was designated a National Historic Landmark on 16 April 1984 by the nation Park Service.

Besides Cape Canaveral which is home to Patrick Space Force Base and our museum facilities, Vandenburg Air Force Base in California is also home to several other historic launch complexes of note.
